Morning Glories

These flowers are one of my favorites, they are called Morning Glories, and as the name suggests, they come out to bloom only in the morning and close up in the evening, due to heat of the sun, their blooms last only one to two days. However, they are constantly growing and producing more flowers, they are a vine plant and are always looking for a place to grab and swirl around in an upward motion. Morning Glories are very drought resistant and do not require much fuss. Great flower to just plant the seeds and let them grow. I also harvest the seeds in the fall, so I can replant in the spring. I took this picture because I think the color of  middle of the flower, is just so vibrant. I started to paint a picture of this exact photo, so when it is finished I shall post a picture and see what you think.

Blog Beginning

Hello there, My name is Jennifer Christine Lutch and this is my first blog and honestly I do not even know where to begin, so I will start by explaining my idea for this blog site. Earthly Auras is the name of a business I plan to start after graduation, which is this May 2012. When I signed up for blogger.com. they automatically linked my blog site to my etsy account and that is where I got my idea to blog about my work. I am a jewlery designer as well as a photographer, so I decided to design or photograph two items a week, blog about them and then list them to my etsy account. Also, on the top of the page are my fish, as you check my blog, please feed my fish, just click anywhere in the water and the food will appear and the fish will eat.....till next time...
